Your role within the team


-Note that this role is part-time, 0.6FTE (three days)

The Key Account Manager is a critical role within the H&H Group business and is responsible for nurturing the customer's that will playing a key role in driving growth in the future. They will collaborate with the buying teams in our existing Emerging accounts to achieve executional, financial and operational targets and also identify and secure new customers to ensure the long term commercial success of the business.

Leading the development and implementation of initiatives relating to sales, brand and marketing to drive category growth, the Key Account Manager will demonstrate an innate drive to achieve positive business outcomes, with an action-oriented and customer-focused approach. 

 

Key focus areas include:


  • The key business management contact for retail buying teams across the Vitamins Minerals and Supplements, Skincare & Baby categories.
  • Develop and implement joint business plans with each retailer. • Effectively manage retail promotional programs designed to maximise sales volume and profitability for the business
  • Manage and evaluate co-op investment to deliver the highest return on investment possible for both H&H and the customer.
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth servicing of our retail accounts, across marketing, innovation, commercial finance, operations, finance etc.
  • Manage internal customer P&L’s to ensure volume, profitability and margin expectations are achieved.

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Business, Commerce, Marketing)
  • 2+ years industry experience in business development management, account management or category management (within FMCG)
  • Demonstrated success in achieving financial targets and securing new business accounts
  • Strong understanding of category data analysis tools and techniques (IRI, shopper data, Quantium etc.)
  • Highly effective communication and negotiation skills
