Full Job Description
The Role:
We are seeking Emergency Medicine Registrars and Residents to work in the emergency departments, one hospital is a large teaching Hospital the other a small regional Hospital.

The teaching Hospital is ACEM accredited as a major referral centre for two years of advanced emergency training and the smaller Regional Hospital has accreditation for 12 months as an urban district hospital.

The main Hospital is the tertiary referral centre for region, covering some of the most remote communities on earth, with a catchment area of over 1 million square kilometres. The case-mix is unique with a young population (average age 32), and the highest per capita rates of acute rheumatic fever, TB, blunt and penetrating trauma in Australia.

The Hospital has 345 beds servicing a population of over 140,000 it has a diverse population including urban, regional, and remote centres.

The Location:

Skills & Qualifications required:
