HEW 7 - $104,986.44 p.a. including 17% superannuation

Comprising of several cross-functional teams supported by an underpinning service support layer and governed by an overall strategic services and business solutions framework, ITS ensures that investment in technology is fit for purpose and benefits the University.

About the role

Responsible for analysing, understanding and documenting the data assets held by the University.

You will:
conduct analysis of business processes and resultant data assets to understand data controls, risks, classification, security, quality and lineage;
plan and develop flexible data governance policies, procedures and standards to increase data governance maturity;
perform detailed analysis of business system security and access control for the protection of institutional information; and
assist in the development and support of a metadata management system.

About you

To be considered for this position, you will have demonstrated:

experience in Data Governance concepts like Master Data Management, Data Security, Data Quality to effectively satisfy data requirements and Data Governance policy;
experience with Metadata Management theory, Metadata Management tools and Business Intelligence tools and functions;
understanding of business systems, processes and data and the ability to review, analyse and document these using industry standard methods; and
experience developing data governance policies and procedures.
