We have an opportunity for a Digital and Social Media Adviser to be part of our Communications and Digital Services Unit within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.

This team operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to deliver best-practice and innovative communication and digital services across the department.

The role supports the delivery of strategic communications through digital channels, including social media platforms. The position provides expert advice on social media content and strategies, developing creative and engaging communications and providing insights and analysis on performance. The position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining a content schedule across social media channels, taking a broad and holistic view of communication needs.

  • Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an offer of employment
Requirements
  • Possession of a current driver’s licence and willingness to drive
  • Term contract until 17 December 2021
  • Based at Adelaide CBD or Glenside
  • Out of hours work and inter / intrastate travel may be required.
  • You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations
  • The incumbent may be required to undertake training and be willing to participate in emergency preparedness and response activities required by government agencies

ASO5 $80,830 - $89,897 per annum
