JOB DESCRIPTION

The Team Leader, ICT Customer Support Desktop Support is a role within Business Improvement and Technology and is accountable to the Manager, ICT Service Delivery for: Undertaking activities to manage the ICT Service delivery, resources and promoting a strong focus of customer service delivery; assisting in developing mature ICT systems and processes; providing quality ICT support services to DHS clients in accordance with agreed service level; implementing strategies, in recognition of client concerns, that clearly articulate appropriate responses and identity a commitment to continuous improvement of the services and engaging with local customers on operational problem and incidents to ensure that ICT service delivery is consistent, of high quality and in line with customer service needs and requirements.

Special Conditions: Relevant certification in computer science / software development. Experience administering an ITSM application is desirable. Successful applicant will be required to hold a National Police Check (NPC) and satisfactorily complete an Employment-related Screening Check where this is required for the role, prior to being employed.

Screening

Consideration for an offer of employment in the South Australian Public Sector is in part dependent upon a National Police Check, also known as a National Police Certificate.

If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check, which has been issued within six months of your application for the role. National Police Checks can be applied for via the South Australia Police or through an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission accredited body .

If the role you are applying for also requires an Employment-related Screening Check, you will be required to undergo such assessment as is advised by DHS, including periodic assessment during your employment.

Cover Letter and Resume

You are required to submit a cover letter which should be no longer than 2 pages addressing how your skills, attributes, experience and capabilities align with the role description. You are also required to provide three work referees, preferably being your two most recent line managers and attach your current resume via the online application form.
